What we do

From a single cell
to human longevity.

IPMC is a biopharmaceutical company developing new medicines for neurodegenerative and cardiometabolic disease — alongside a cell-therapy, regenerative-medicine and longevity platform spanning the full value chain.

01

Neurodegenerative & Cardiometabolic

Small-molecule programs led by KDS2010 (Tisolagiline) — a reversible, selective MAO-B inhibitor in Phase 2 for Alzheimer's disease, also in development for obesity.

Core Technology · CRC™ / UII™

Technology that
quantifies quality.

IPMC's Cell Regenerative Capacity™ (CRC™) measures the activity of individual cells in real time using glutathione (GSH) — a new standard for cell-therapy quality control. From sourcing to therapy, IPMC owns the entire value chain: sourcing, processing, storage and delivery.

KDS2010 — a once-daily oral
candidate for Alzheimer's.

Through Scilex Bio, a joint venture with Nasdaq-listed Scilex Holding (SCLX), IPMC advances KDS2010 (Tisolagiline) — a novel reversible, selective MAO-B inhibitor for neurodegenerative and cardiometabolic disease. As a representative company of the Bio Innovation Consortium, IPMC holds the exclusive global license to NeuroBiogen's KDS2010.

Mechanism of action

A highly selective, reversible MAO-B inhibitor that normalizes aberrant astrocytic GABA and H₂O₂ in reactive astrocytes — reducing neuroinflammation and restoring synaptic transmission, learning and memory. It overcomes the limitations seen with irreversible MAO-B inhibitors in long-term use.

Phase 1 established

Single- and multiple-ascending-dose trials in 88 healthy young and elderly subjects, across Korean and Western populations, showed favorable safety and tolerability with pharmacokinetics suitable for once-daily dosing. KDS2010 is also in development for obesity.

"Advancement of a small molecule with great potential to improve cognitive function that can be delivered with once-daily oral dosing holds promise for people living with Alzheimer's disease." — Richard Lipton, M.D. · Professor of Neurology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine
